Diana Agostini
Executive Director

Diana Agostini began her work in the non-profit education sector long before moving to San Diego in 2012. Her background in International Cooperation had her travel the world working on national and international projects for NGOs and smaller non-profits. In 2013 Diana joined SDIFF, where she combines her passion for cultural studies to the one for the arts, trying to find creative ways to promote critical thinking and inclusion. When not working on all things SDIFF, you can find her recruiting MBA students for the University of San Diego or running on trails. Diana holds an Executive Master in Management from SDA Bocconi School of Management, a Master's in International Development, and a Bachelor's in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation.

Antonio Iannotta, PhD
Artistic Director

Antonio Iannotta received his PhD (Dottorato di ricerca) in Communication and Media Studies from University of Salerno (Italy). He has published essays on cinema, TV series, comics, theory of media, and two books: a monograph about Samuel Beckett and a study about Sound and Image in the Film Experience. He worked as Communications Director for a number of International Festivals in Italy. In San Diego, he has taught at UCSD and SDSU. He is Adjunct Associate Professor of Italian at University of the San Diego.

Grant Writing

Rosario Monetti
Music Producer

Music Producer Rosario Monetti supervises all musical aspects of the feStivale and our other projects throughout the season. Born in Naples, Rosario studied music and opera singing with renowned artists including Marcello Ferraresi, Sandra Lepore, Giovanni da Palestrina, and Katia Ricciarelli. After performing for years as soloist and member of the a capella choir Musica Antica all over Italy and Europe, Rosario moved to San Diego in 2009, and regularly appears at local venues and Italian festivals around Southern California. As a singer he performs in a wide variety of music genres from opera to jazz, swing, and more.

Sanjil Kumar
Operations Manager

Sanjil Kumar graduated from The Art Institute of California - San Francisco with a B.S. in Fashion Marketing & Management. Before joining the San Diego Italian Film Festival, he worked with several companies in various industries building his skills in design and digital marketing. In addition to his work with SDIFF, Sanjil also works for a EHR software company expanding his skills as a digital marketer. On his spare time, he likes to travel and spend time with his family.

Stephanie Thompson
PR and Communications

Stephanie Thompson is the founder and CEO of Stephanie Thompson Communications, working with a range of clients that include nonprofits, performing arts, festivals, and touring entertainment. She is a communications professional and writer with more than 20 years of experience, including eight years heading San Diego Opera’s media relations department, and has also taught journalism, English, and humanities. She’s not Italian in any way but often wishes she was.

Jack Han
Photographer

Jack Han is a student at The Cambridge School, graduating class of 2021. He found his love for photography in middle school when he began taking photos on his old iPhone. He is one of his school’s photographers, as well as the founder and president of an after-school photography club. In his free time, Jack likes to listen to music, binge Netflix, and hang out with friends.

Terry O’Quest
Accounting

Vicky Torres
Social Media Coordinator

Vicky Torres is a graduate of the University of San Diego where she studied Business Administration, Marketing and Communication Studies. Vicky has experience building communities online and offline and is excited to foster a digital piazza for SDIFF. Offline you can find her in admissions and recruiting for University of San Diego's School of Business, having elaborate photoshoots for her dog or creating art in any and every form.
