What started with a few films shown at the House of Italy has grown to year-round programs in both San Diego and North County. Our Italian specialists curate, structure and produce several projects throughout the year, which succeed thanks to the hard work of our many volunteers.

Our main event is the fall feStivale, a two-week period where the best in current (and sometimes classic) Italian cinema is assembled for screenings, discussions and parties. We also organize two different monthly series throughout the year, one at the Museum of Photographic Arts in Balboa Park and one at La Paloma Theatre in Encinitas.

In addition to film screenings, we host events in the community and work with other arts and social organizations to bring their unique perspectives and performances to our different projects. For each individual film, we seek to partner with subject-appropriate local organizations to cross-promote our events and organizations and produce satellite events connected to our screenings.
