Twenty years ago, Victor Laruccia founded the San Diego Italian Film Festival with a powerful vision: to bring the beauty, intelligence, and creative force of Italian cinema to San Diego, and create a community around this powerful form of art.
Today, that vision lives on.
What began as one man’s dream has become part of the cultural fabric of our city. For two decades, SDIFF has brought people together through film, conversation, food, friendship, and shared discovery.
The Victor Laruccia Legacy Fundraiser is our way of honoring his passion and ensuring that the Festival continues to inspire audiences for generations to come. As we celebrate the 20th edition of feStivale — with Legacy as this year’s theme — we invite you to be part of this story and imagine what more we can accomplish as a community.
